Ken Burns with Dennis Galucki

The Center for the Study of Art, Architecture, History & Nature (C-SAAHN) is pleased to announce the first annual "Buffalo Day at Chautauqua" on Monday, August 9, 2010.

Ken Burns is the featured speaker at the 10:45 am to noon Amphitheater lecture during Week 7 at Chautauqua Institution themed "Sacred Spaces."
It has been reported by Chautauqua Institution that Ken Burns will focus on architecture in general and Frank Lloyd Wright in particular.

Mary Roberts, Executive Director, Martin House Restoration Corporation, will give a short update on the Martin House Complex at 4 pm at the Hall of Christ
which will be followed by the WNED nationally aired production, "Frank Lloyd Wright's Buffalo." Ken Burns has been invited to make introductory remarks as well.

Many other activities are available all day at Chautauqua Institution and there is an entrance fee. Look for discount coupons in The Buffalo News.

Other sponsors of this event include the Martin House Restoration Corporation, The Buffalo News and WNED.
